Writer/producer, The Dream is working on his second album, the follow-up to 2007’s Love/Hate. The album, titled Love vs. Money is slated to release December 16th.
The Dream has reteamed with producer Los Da Maestro (J. Holiday’s “Bed”), who helmed most of the tracks on Love/Hate, and partner Tricky Stewart, who produced most of the tracks on the forthcoming set, while also working with the likes of Lil’ Jon.
Although a single hasn’t be confirmed yet, confirmed tracks include the ’60s-inspired “You Aint Sh*t,” “Fancy,” about a girl who wants to live the glamorous life, rhythmic/pop track “Right Side of My Brain,” “Make Love to Me,” which he describes as a “good ol’ baby-making record,” “Booty,” and “Kelly’s 12 Play,” inspired by R. Kelly’s debut album. Mariah Carey has a guest spot on “My Love.”
