Lil Wayne is the proud parent of a newborn son, and now he is planning on rapping with Jay-Z, the original Mr. Carter, next week.
The two heavyweights will be the headliners at the Power 105.1 Powerhouse concert in New York next week, and Wayne has said that fans at the concert should expect the two to perform "Mr. Carter" for the first time together.
"I know the 'Mr. Carter' thing is supposed to be a go," Weezy said Saturday. "That's the whole reason I think I was doing [the concert]." The question, now that "Mr. Carter" is a go, is whether Kanye West and T.I. will show up with HOV and Weezy to perform "Swagger Like Us."
"I can't answer the 'Swagger Like Us' thing," Lil' Wayne said.
And, as a bit of an added bonus, it appears like the Hot Boys are getting ready to get back together.
"The Hot Boys reunion is supposed to be a go," Wayne said. "I think there's a few more buttons that have to be pushed, but it's a go." Yee... Thisis50.com
