Yesterday They Went To Court & Here's What Resulted..

"Looks like QDIII’s Lil Wayne documentary The Carter will be coming to DVD after all. A judge denied the Grammy-award winning artist’s request yesterday (April 21) to stop the film’s release, according to Variety.

As previously reported Weezy sued QDIII, the producer’s company QDIII Entertainment and their affiliate Digeratti Holdings, LLC last month claiming he was never given approval over the final cut before its premiere as promised, and that the movie portrays him in a negative light.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael S. Mink voted in the producer’s favor, rejecting Wayne’s request for a preliminary injunction. Now QD, the son of legendary musician Quincy Jones and producer behind the Beef DVD series, is free to shop around for a distribution deal for the flick." XXL
