"A text message sent to Chris Brown from another woman may have set off the argument between Chris Brown and Rihanna, according to TMZ.com.
"The text message was reportedly from a woman who wrote about “hooking up later” with the “Forever” singer while the hip-pop couple was driving in Brown’s rented Lamborghini early Sunday morning.
Chris Brown allegedly hit Rihanna with his fists leaving her in bad shape. According to TMZ.com, the Barbados singer could barely open her eyes because they were almost completely swollen shut. She had a fat lip, swollen mouth, bloody nose, and contusions on her forehead and both sides of her face.
As a result of these recent allegations, Brown’s endorsement deals with Wrigley’s Doublemint gum and the Milk Council’s “Got Milk” campaign have been suspended. His appearance at NBA All-Star Weekend in Phoenix has been canceled.
Meanwhile, Rihanna has pulled out of a series of scheduled shows in Asia this week."
